November Rain, Guns n Roses, 1991. Love this song. I see this gritty, seen-and-lived-it-all, ex-badass rockstar got hurt reeeal bad by some girl. She damaged their relatonship with some careless, diva act-up but he's telling her it'll all be alright in a way thats half reassuring and half pleading. He's showing understanding of the fact that being fickle, selfish and confused in relationships is a rite of passage we all go through when we're young. A guy who bares his vulnerabilty to his girlfriend while also being strong when shes scared is masculine and secure in himself (in my books).

Also, Ive been overdosing reading this guy Sam Something's blog on SMH. Its called 'All Men Are Liars' but from what he writes about, it should really be called 'Bitter and insecure men are all liars but other men are smart, funny and kind". No he's not a pussy! Heres a piece of writing he posted by the crime novelist Raymond Chandler after his wife Cissy Pascal's death in 1954 where after he said poigantly 'I want that'. I hope this melts all my playerhating sisters out there. Here's the extract:

Now, new from Louis Vuitton, I havn't decided if I like this bag or not. I've only seen it in pictures from Style.com and for some reason I get vibes of a tacky, plastic bowling bag from Lonsdale. On the other hand I havent seen this bag in real life so it could be much nicer (like it usually is). Because I think the colours really pretty, Im giving it the benefit of the doubt and hoping its actually a gorgeous and timeless bag for their younger market (like the LV cherry monogram mmm). This arrived in Australia on September 4th.Britneys already got hers

I know its like some naffy slogan some marketing guy made up for his client that ive just swallowed hook line sinker...but in the case of Christian Louboutin shoes, they WILL make you more attractive. You are walking with a hot extension of your hot self. Whats also sexy is that they are comfortable. So they not only make you look good, they care about you and how your feets feeling. Im in love.

After 17 total years with the Education System, im finally done. I aint taking a schooling from no one no more! Ive been with this institution all my life and until the last 5 years its been my entire life. Every year in high school I would do all my homework on time, self teach myself the Maths from one year above and in year 11 do self research into the English books we read. I've been deprived, Ive gained things...and now its time to move on.

On tuesday when I finally graduated I took a moment to appreciate where I am today. Working at KPMG as a Corporate Tax Consultant for the past 9 months...it's been really boring but I think its decent for a first year Graduate and a good place to start my career. Anyway, Im at work right now and thats all the good things I will say about work in case I feel like taking it back in 2 seconds time haha.

So beautiful!...It was such a late graduation and so dark the only place to take photos was the library!

How hot are these skirts! These outfits show off the soft feminine curves of a girls waist and hips while set against bold, strong colours or sharp strong lines. Its a contrast of the external vulnerability of her body against the internal strength of her attitude and charisma. I call it.."little pretty hard bitch" hahaha just joking. Alice Mccall actually calls this collection "High on Rebellion".

After a boring, impractical and sometimes hideous Autumn/Winter 2008 collection, the Alley M is baaack.

This one also comes in a skirt but the dress is hotter. Its so versatile and effortlessly sexy. Meaning you will look hot and appropriate if your wearing it for something everyday and casual (coffee, lunch, shopping) and will continue to look hot and appropriate even if some freak unforseen event happens later that same day (nice dinner, bar drinks, have to save the world in a shoot-em-up blow-em-up action movie scenario). You will stay looking appropriate, hot and effortless while in the thick of shooting things up, blowing things up and jumping from buildings.

To show my point, this is the outfit Olga Kurylenko/Nika Boronina did it in Hitman. She was a prosi in this movie but shes effortlessly sexy wearing her everday work clothes that turned into her save the world outfit.

Shandong Dumpling House

I can't get enough of Shandong Dumpling House in Ashfield. For the past two months, its where Ive been every week for a lazy Sunday brunch. The place has all my favourite foods that I grew up eating. Its got a North-East Chinese style that's just like my mum's home cooking. Totally yum and also really really cheap! The food originally comes from a poor area so its all about wholesome flavours and nothing fancy...apparantly like Irish food I'm told.

Hand made dumplings: Anyone who grew up eating their parents dumplings at home would understand there is a huuuuge difference between handmade and machine made skin. Texture is completely different and hand made also tastes wholesome and delish. Also theres a difference between Northern and Southern Chinese dumplings. Northern is better. Its $7.50 a plate and this place gives huge servings..great value.
Candied Sweet Patatoe: This is the only place in Sydney that I know that has this. Just craving for this dish alone would be enough for me to come here every week. Look at that stringy toffee goodness. YUM. This is $15 a plate and I always finish it.

Hot and Sour Sliced Patatoe and Pork with Wrap: I obviously made up the name for this one because it's a made up dish. Its a special order just for me- this was one of my childhood faves. This dish is about $20 but its massive.

We always try to order a new dish each time and this one is Pork with some fried doughy batter. It's pretty plain, can't remember how much this one cost and it's not gonna become one of the regular dishes.
